IMPORTANT: Make sure that the Default buffer value’ is set to FFh(255) before loading data patterns. The device supports a read security feature which protects the design from being copied. A secured device may still be erased and reprogrammed. The Stand Alone Verify (‘Verify after programming’) is a redundant operation. The ‘Check electronic identifiers’ option must be set to ENABLE for any device operation. The proprietary Xilinx .BIT file is *not* a valid file format for the programmer Data Pattern. For the programmer Data Pattern please select an Intel hex (.MCS) file.Please refer to the Xilinx UG161 Platform Flash PROM User Guide for PROM MCS file generation instructions and programmer option settings. ‘
