Note
IMPORTANT: This algorithm is used to program the Intel Flash device (E28F128J3A) on the Xerox DIMM.This device contains 128 bit Protection Register. The first 64 bits are mapped from 1000000h to1000007h in the buffer. These bits are pre-programmed by the manufacturer and cannot be modified. The Program’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Verify’ commands will ignore the factory-programmed area. Thelast 64 bits of the Protection Register are mapped from 1000008h to 100000Fh in the buffer and areone-time-user-programmable. When Erasing this range the programmer will blank-check these bitsand will fail the Erase command if the area is not blank. Locking the User Register portion ofthe Protection Register is a one time only operation. If Autorange is enabled the 128-bit ProtectionRegister will be excluded. ‘
BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
