If the device is not yet supported by your BPM programmer (Generation), request Device Support
Note
IMPORTANT: Algorithm support for this device selection is developed. Device samples are needed for QA testing and full release in BPWin.For information on how to obtain an expedited release of this device support please contact BPM Microsystems at:Inside Sales713–688-4600inside_sales@bpmmicro.comInformation on expected socket module support can be found our web page at: http://www.www.bpmmicro.com/find-your-device/**Please note that receipt of device samples and QA testing must be completed before socket module support can be validated.
Device Type: | Dual-Channel or D-CAP+Step-Down Multiphase Controller |
Device Memory Type: | Configuration Non-Volatile Memory |
Algorithm Programming Method: | PMBus |
Supported Data File Format: | Four-column PMBus programming script (.csv)(File should include address column) |
Serialization Supported: | No |
Memory Organization:
Memory Type | Attributes* | Included in DefaultRange (Y/N) | BPWin BufferByte Address (hex) |
Configuration NVM | R/W/E | Yes | Determined by data file |
Default Algorithm Range | — | — | Determined by data file |
* R/W/E: rewritable and verifiable Special Device Considerations:
1. | If the programming script already has readback commandsafter the STORE_DEFAUL_ALL and RESET commands it is recommended to disable the separate Verify operationafter Program for better throughput. |
2. | The devices must match both the device ID and revision specified in the programming script! |
3. | This algorithm will attempt to read the word command byte order from the programming script comment that reads ‘SMBus Word Command data bytes order is:’. This comment must be before any word commands. If it is not specified the algorithm will use <high-byte><low-byte>. |
4. | The word command byte order detection may be overridden via the Word Command Byte Order option under Device->Settings. |
5. | Some registers are not verified per semihouse recommendation. |
6. | The maximum BPWin buffer size supported by this algorithm after loading the programming script is less than 4000h. |
‘
BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
