Note

IMPORTANT:

Device Type: Digital Signal Processors
Device Size: 256K Words Flash + 1K Words OTP
Algorithm Programming method: Custom Bootloader

Memory Organization:

Memory Type

Attributes(*)

Included in default Range (Y/N) DUT Physical Byte Address(hex)(if this area is selected/Activated) BPWin Buffer Byte Address(hex)
OTP R/W No 0038_0400 – 0038_07FF 0070_0800 – 0070_0FFF
Flash R/W/E Yes 0030_0000 – 0033_FFFF 0060_0000 – 0067_FFFF

* R:Read only W:One time programmable (OTP) R/W:readable and one time programmable (OTP) R/W/E:readable and rewritable if not locked. Any configurations listed under Device-Specific’ in the menu item Device-> Settings will be written to the DUT during ‘Program’ operation regardless of memory range selection. Special Device Considerations:

The OTP and Flash memory can be used independently of each other by selecting the appropriate sections in the Device Config Options. The password keys used for programming and verify operations is the data location in the at byte address 33FFF8h – 33FFFFh (Data Pattern Locations 67FFF0h – 67FFFFh)
For Read Erase and Compare operations the keys need to be provided using the Device Config Options.
When programming and a non-blank security key exists in the buffer data the software checks byte address 33FF80h – 33FFF5h (Data Pattern locations 67FF00h – 67FFEBh)
for the required data of 0 per TI specifications. If the key locations are programmed to all 0’s the device will be permanently locked
and cannot be recovered.

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
