IMPORTANT: This is a custom algorithm to be used for non-virgin devices only. Factory device page size is 2Kbytes + 128bytes and this custom algorithm treats it as 2Kbytes + 64bytes. This is a NAND-type Flash Memory with a minimum of 2008 blocks. Each block contains 64 pages which are divided into a 2048 byte main page and a 64 byte spare area. This algorithm is mapped with each page considered an contiguous 2112 byte page. Bad Blocks are indicated at byte 2048 of the first page or second page of a block. ‘
