IMPORTANT: Serial Electrically Erasable PROM (EEPROM).This device is write protectable.You can input the desired address to begin write protection from under Device/Configure.To protect the memory select ENABLE then enter the starting address to beprotected. To unprotect select DISABLE then enter 255 or 0xFF as the starting address. This optioncan not verified because the value of the status register after total unprotect is 255 or 0xFFwhich is the same status as protect at address 255 or 0xFF.(see spec PRCLEAR)
