About This Position

BPM Microsystems is hiring an Inside Sales Representative & Front Desk Administrator at our company headquarters located in Houston, TX. This is a full-time position. The Inside Sales Representative & Front Desk Administrator is a main point of contact for BPM customers, outside sales representatives, international distributors and internal teams in an global business to business environment. The essential responsibility for this position is to ensure that our customers receive outstanding sales support with every interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team members
  • Greet visitors and customers in the front lobby and advise team members of their arrival
  • Office administrative duties such as document scanning, filing, and other projects as requested
  • Lead the planning and execution of company events like picnics, lunches, and parties
  • Distribute mail, maintain office calendar and update employee roster
  • Participate in the support of outbound promotions and sales activities to increase revenue
  • Generate and send quotes to customers in a timely manner
  • Capturing of accurate and complete information in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • Manage leads and follow-up calls using CRM
  • Create and send order acknowledgments, confirming shipment dates and ensuring order accuracy
  • Respond quickly and thoroughly to customer requests for product information
  • Research and provide detailed product and support quotes to customers, representatives, and distributors
  • Monitor order due dates to ensure customers are proactively notified of any changes in delivery schedule
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the process
  • Coordinate shipping carrier information for both domestic and international accounts

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years previous work history in a Customer Service, Sales Support, Inside Sales or Receptionist position
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Bilingual is a PLUS!
  • Electronics industry experience would be highly desirable
  • Must be a team player with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Ability to listen to customer needs and create solutions based on their needs
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Excel, as well as CRM solutions like Salesforce
  • Have a “can-do” positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
  • Maintain professional demeanor and appearance
